Raymond is a dedicated Engineer that is passionate about improving water and sanitation management practices. Close on to the last 5 years, he has worked at GFA Consulting GmbH, an international consultancy firm, were he supports various development programs aimed at enhancing water utility performance monitoring metrics. These programs are designed to increase transparency in performance monitoring and reporting to a variety of stakeholders, including development partners, their customers, and regulatory authorities. However, the current data management tools used by utilities are often manual, even with the introduction of digital tools like Kobo Toolbox and cost-inefficient especially in cases where there is a need for scaling of the data management process. As a data engineering enthusiast from Uganda, Raymond developed an application that streamlines the data management process by automatically collecting, cleaning, and processing data from Kobo Toolbox and presenting the results in a user-friendly web interface.
